TOP 10 THINGS YOU REALLY MISSED
AT COMIC-CON 2006

Thinking they had any right to produce an article about Comic-Con, MSNBC thought it okay to print this offensive article, in which they call us comic fans “nerds”.

Who the hell do they think we are using the term “nerd” to refer to us when they are the ones who have the 8-5 jobs and go back to their 2.5 kids, white-picket fences, and faux blonde wives living in suburbia while driving their heap-ass bottom of the line BMW’s and Volvo’s?

Here’s the “Real Top Ten Things you probably missed at Comic-Con…”

1
The Mach 5 custom car. Sombody actually finally made this!? Holy Crap! Screw anything Detroit is producing, I want one of these and I don’t care how high gas prices are.

2
Rose McGowen at an Impromptu signing session on the Con Floor with Quentin Tarentino and Robert Rodriguez, Quentin who and Rob what?

3
Paris Hilton in Trash…okay, maybe it’s not her for real but she’s close – plus about 100 Lbs. Still kudos for this night club promo-girl for paying attention to the “nerds”.

4
The drink list at the Marvel/Hasbro party. Is it happy hour, yet?

5
The most innovative local business to capitalize on the Con. Granted, we’re dead tired by the time this show opens each day and broke from spending our hard earned money on plastic action figures all day long, but really, what’s the differenece?

6
BBQ -- Home of the “slutty bar scene from Top Gun,” great food at a good price, and easy to overlook if you’re not staying at the Embassy Suites.

7
Darth Antonio. One of the cutest kids in the world but, he just couldn’t make through the crazy Preview night, without throwing a fit…yet.

8
Our editor, George Partying with Marvel “Big Wig” Joe Quesada. George’s beer is borrowed folks…from a real drinker.

9
This one just crosses so many genre’s it’s ridiculuous….

10
Well hell, you just don’t get this type of entertainment until you make it Dragon-Con (you missed them in San Diego, cause they weren’t there, but we’ll see you in a few months at Dragon-Con. Maybe Toyfare Spidey will be off the ground by then…maybe).
